Captains Log: July 13th, 2007 The last few weeks have been our best yet! The turn out has been strong and steadily increasing each week. New faces new to salsa are showing up every week thanks to YOUR promotion! Like we've said before, word of mouth is really playing a huge factor in the success of this salsa night. Captains Log: June 25th, 2007 It is hard to believe that it have been 5 months already since we started this unique night of all salsa. If this keeps up then we see the success of an all salsa night at a nightclub being a major milestone reached for making Detriot known as a hotspot for Salsa dancers in the country. As always we continue to get the word out to new people about salsa. That mean we will need a lot of Instructors! So instructors... if you are listening, we need you all help out all the new people we are getting into the scene. So bring your game and your business cards and lets work together to build a community to support more and more events for salsa lovers. That's all for now. See you on the dance floor!! |

What is the SKY Mambo Project? It's a mission to create a successful night that is perfect for people who want to learn and dance salsa in a nightclub setting. Historically, keeping a dedicated salsa night going has been tough (to say the least). But we feel that given just the right elements, a weekly night dedicated to salsa at a nightclub can be successful, and this is our first attempt at bringing those elements together. Read more... Don't know how to Salsa? We offer 2 free salsa classes every week. Come for the classes, stay for the dances! After the classes you will have the perfect opportunity to get out on the dance floor and not just hear the music but also be a part of it! |
